  1. We manually oversee our donor community. If you've contributed beyond your current level, kindly allow one week for the confirmation to be emailed to you, and for your benefits to commence. Should you prefer to receive your benefits earlier than one week, please reach out to us at info@guildfestivaltheatre.com.

  2. Your contribution year will start from the date of your first donation.

  3. Monthly supporters are individuals or entities who commit to making regular, recurring contributions and have set up monthly donations on our CanadaHelps page.

  4. As a token of gratitude for our monthly supporters, the annual cumulative contribution for eligible Ecosystem benefits among monthly contributors is less than the total contribution required for one-time donors.

  5. If you are a new donor, we will reach out to confirm your physical mailing address within two weeks after the donation has been made. After that, the tax receipt will be sent digitally to your provided email address. If you are an existing donor, a tax receipt will be sent digitally to your provided email address within two weeks after the donation has been made.

  6. Our Quarterly Insider e-Newsletter includes updates on the impact of your contributions.

  7. Kindly specify your Ecosystem status when acquiring tickets. We assure seat reservations exclusively for shows where tickets have been purchased at least 24 hours in advance. If you request reserved seating for in-person ticket purchases before the performance commences, please arrive half an hour beforehand to facilitate seat arrangements.

  8. Our Community Access Program offers free tickets to Scarborough equity priority communities to provide accessible theatre for everyone, regardless of age, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status.

MAKING A DONATION

HOW DO I MAKE A DONATION?

Go to GFT’s CanadaHelps donation page. You can choose to donate one time or set up a monthly donation.

I MADE A DONATION IN CASH AT THE PERFORMANCE. HOW CAN I BE RECOGNIZED?

Please specify your donor tier information when making your donation. Your cash donation details will be added to your contribution within one week of donation date.

HOW LONG DOES MY DONOR TIER STATUS LAST?

Your Ecosystem status lasts for one year from your first donation date.

CAN I CONTRIBUTE ANONYMOUSLY AND STILL BE PART OF A DONOR TIER?

Yes. We will not share your name and contribution level publicly without your permission. Our staff will only use your contact information to deliver your benefits and no personal data will be shared with third parties. WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO PAUSE OR CANCEL MY MONTHLY DONATION?
