Q: What kind of mentorship will I receive?

Q: What happens at the YES Showcase?
A: The YES Showcase is the final event where participants present their projects to the community in a meaningful and personalized way. With support from the YES Program Manager, participants will decide how to share their work—whether live, digital, print, or another format that best represents their project.
Q: What if I don’t finish my project on time?
A: The program provides training and mentorship to help you stay on track, but if challenges arise, you must communicate with program coordinators as soon as possible. In some cases, unused funds might need to be returned.
Q: How will my application be evaluated?
A: Applications will be assessed based on the strength of the creative idea, the applicant’s interest in leadership and project management, and the project’s community impact. While the budget and timeline are important, the key focus is understanding why you want to do this project. The selection committee includes Guild Festival Theatre staff, all of whom are artists and project leaders themselves.
