Dana Hennigar is a knowledgeable and passionate social worker. Dana holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and is dedicated to improving the lives of those she works with. Her wealth of experience from both community development and her impactful career in healthcare, allows Dana to bring a deep understanding of health and well-being to her volunteer initiatives.

Throughout her career, Dana has worked with a wide range of populations, delivering valuable presentations in schools, engaging youth in meaningful programs, and championing equitable access to care. Her advocacy extends beyond direct service, as she has participated in local actions and engaged with political leaders to present critical healthcare issues and promote actionable solutions.

Maintaining a long history of volunteering both locally and internationally, has fostered a global perspective that enriches her work and advocacy. Dana is deeply passionate about the arts, including live theatre, dance, visual arts and music, which inspire her commitment to cultural enrichment. She believes in the transformative power of the arts in both body and mind, to connect and uplift communities.

When not advocating, educating, or leading, Dana finds fulfillment in her personal life through spending time with her family, her dog and embracing new and exciting challenges as she trains for her second-degree black belt in karate. With a variety of professional expertise, community engagement, artistic passions, and global experiences, Dana continues to make a profound and lasting impact in all disciplines she engages.
